Events for March 2019
March is fast approaching and that means a whole bunch of new events happening in Burlington and all over the Halton Region. From maple syrup festivals to comedy festivals, there’s always something for everyone.

Maple Syrup Festival
When: Weekends in March and the week of March Break from 9:30am – 3:00pm
Where: Bronte Creek Provincial Park, 1219 Burloak Drive, Oakville
Admission: Park entrance is $17 and bring some money for food and the gift shop.
Attractions: Pancake House, fresh maple candy, fresh maple toffy, guided tours of maple lane, gift shop, wagon rides, farm animals, historical tours, family friendly activities and so much more.
About the Festival: This is a festival that celebrates the heritage and culture of maple syrup making. The Maple Syrup Festival takes place every weekend from March 2nd until March 31st.

The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival
When: Saturday March 16th at 7:30pm – 10:30pm
Where: The Burlington Performing Arts Centre, 440 Locust Street, Burlington
Admission: Regular tickets are $59 + tax and members tickets are $54 + tax
About the show: TOskecthfest is Toronto’s longest running comedy festival and is in Burlington for one night only so get your tickets ASAP. Have a night of laughs with Gavin Crawford (from Kids in The Hall and This Hour Has 22 Minutes) and Bruce McCulloch who delivers his one man show with a combination of storytelling and stand-up.

Taste of Burlington
When: March 1st at 11:00am – 10pm, with other dates include March 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th
Where: Burlington’s finest restaurants!
About the Event: The Taste of Burlington is a great event that happens at various restaurants across Burlington. The restaurant chooses a prix-fixe lunch and/or dinner menu. These menus include an appetizer, entree and dessert. Start times and dates may vary at each individual restaurants due to operating times. It’s highly recommended to make reservations to make sure that you have a table since this is a very popular event.
